Terry Armstrong

Relationship building and creating exceptional sales teams has been the cornerstone of Terry’s career in Kelowna since 1982. Terry’s past role as Vice President of Sales & Strategic Partnerships for the GSL Group brought new challenges and diversity to his portfolio including overseeing sales & marketing of several business units including a WHL hockey team, live entertainment including concerts and outdoor music festivals and the creation of new business ventures including E-Sports and a new mainstream media outlet in Victoria BC.

Prior to his time with GSL, Terry enjoyed a 32-year media career that included several different positions with The Okanagan Valley Newspaper Group including Sales Executive, Director of Sales, VP Sales, Group Publisher, and Vice President. He is a dedicated community member, actively serving as a Director on many Boards including the KGH Foundation, Telus Thompson Okanagan Community Board, Central Okanagan Community Food Bank (current), Canadian Newspaper Advisory Council, Kelowna International Major Midget Hockey Tournament, Kelowna Community Resources and most recently as President of the Be an Angel Foundation, a foundation dedicated to helping the less fortunate in our community.

Terry’s positive disposition and ability to develop strong relationships with local & national businesses, members of government in local municipal, provincial and federal levels, and local non-profits, makes him a great fit for the Potentia team.
